There are people who live to work and there are people who work to live. And then there is … Fermín Jiménez. When I grow up I want to be Fermín Jiménez.
When I Grow up I Want to Be Fermín Jiménez. I want to be happy all the time and be as cool as him. I want to take life as a game. Be that short of money and take it as well as him. To relativize as a general rule. To take everything lightly. To not let life weigh me down. There are people who live to work and people who work to live. And then there is…Fermín Jiménez.
Synopsis
When I Grow up I Want to Be Fermín Jiménez is an ode to idle times, to boredom, to living peacefully and cheerfully, to friends, to family to hobbies, to things which really fulfil us. It is about the need to work in current society and the imposition – normally social – to dedicate more hours to work than to any other activity in your free time, be it for fun or with family, etc. It is about how we never stop building, generating, creating, when we are surrounded by excesses, the only thing being that they are badly distributed.
