Like Stones

2006

To travel at the speed of light and come to a sudden standstill. Wasting time as a philosophy of life.
Like stones.

To travel at the speed of light and come to a sudden standstill. To be like William A. Fuqua (of Corpus Christi, Texas), five-time Guinness Record Holder for motionlessness. To be as fast as Superman, to reverse the Earth’s rotation, to turn back time in order to save Lois and swim in a Toi paddling pool once again. To start at the end, to return to the beginning or to remain suspended, timeless. Wasting time as a philosophy of life. Like stones.

Levante EMV

“An authentic big bang between reality and fiction. Intimate memories of the past, of a life passing by at the speed of light, of photographs to the rhythm of slides. An absolute joy.”

El Punt

“Theatre of truth, a naked theatre which has been created with the good intention of giving it all, generously.”

Primer Acto

“A dramaturgy which, just like Pippo Delbono’s or Rodrigo Garcia’s shows, contemplates and develops a theatre of personal truth.”

Synopsis

Three actors share their personal photo albums in which the audience can see themselves reflected. A very personal reflection on the passing of time and the memory which mixes reality and fiction and includes some of the actors’ real family members on stage. A dramaturgy which plays with real time, time through memories and that of the actual performance.
